Notes:
The Qingdao Municipal Museum is across the street from the Qingdao International Convention Center, and in the same building as the Haier Science Museum.  Founded in 1965 as the official history museum for the city of Qingdao, it is a comprehensive and multifunctional museum incorporating history, art, and culture.  At present, the museum houses over 30 varieties and more than 100 thousand pieces of cultural treasures, involving calligraphy, painting, pottery and porcelain wares, bronze wares, ancient coins, tortoise shell inscriptions, and bamboo, wood, ivory, and horn carvings.  Admission is 20RMB per person and there is an option to rent an audio guide for 10 RMB with a 200 RMB deposit.
