InterContinental Qingdao puts on a nice spread and the staff are very professional and extremely courteous. The refreshments, wine, and hors d'oeuvresares that precede the presentations make it well worth the membership/pres entation fees. Most presentations are businesses (not necessarily local) trying to hawk their services or merchandise.
If you decide to attend, get there early to take full advantage of the "networking @ cocktail hour" ~ Don't forget to bring lots of business cards!
The new Qingdao International Business Association (QIBA) is more of a Chinese social networking club than a knowledge base. The QIBA pre-presentatio n "Networking @ Cocktail Hour" is one of several ways to meet others "Doing Business in Qingdao".
