Qingdao's Department Stores and Shopping Malls are scattered throughout the city and include MyKAL, Sunshine Plaza, and JUSCO located on XiangGang Middle Road (a.k.a HongKong Middle Road), Parkson located ZhongShan Road (Qingdao Old Town), and WAL-mart located in TaiDong (ShiBei District). Recent new additions include IGO and Hisense Plaza located in Shinan district.

There are several large scale supermarkets here in Qingdao. MyKAL, Jusco and Carrefour can meet most all of your needs. Items in Carrefour are, in general, less expensive than Jusco's. The best meat in Qingdao can be found at XinKuai Comprehensive Foods Supermarket! MyKAL & Hisense Plaza basement level supermarkets are the newest and additions to this list.

The new International Marina Shopping Plaza (Marina City) is scheduled to be finished at the end of 2009.
