Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) is located approximately 32 km from central Qingdao (Fushan Bay Area) and can be reached in about 40-50 minutes by shuttle bus from the CAAC booking office at 30 XiangGang Middle Road [Telephone: (+86 532) 96567]; or by public bus #305, #373, and #374.

There are several airport shuttle buses that you can catch to get to various locations throughout the city. Currently a taxi between the airport and Qingdao's Central Business District (CBD) should cost around 85-130 RMB depending upon the type of taxi, time of day, and destination. In 2009 the taxi's changed their metering system; the new system charges for distance traveled and duration of transit (similar to Beijing Taxis). visit www.qdairport.com for more information and flight details including arrivals and departures.

By taxi, costing around 60-100 RMB (depending on route, tolls, and time of day), the airport can be reached in about 45-60 minutes from the Central Business District. Highway 308 is a faster and more reliable than the Qing-Yin Expressway.
