Really disappointed, had food here over a year ago. Asked if the steak would be tender, as that's a usual letdown in china, the waiter said it would be as imported. Got served the toughest most tasteless meat more similar to fried braising steak. My date's dish of salt roast fish was smelly and old. The fish had no sides, the steak had a 3/4 fried potatoes only. Charged full price for one of the worst meals ever. No mention of why we left the food, for 500rmb expected a proper meal & service!
The food is incredible. I live in Yantai and I try to come up with reasons to come to Qingdao just so I can eat at Cassani's. My recommendations include the four cheese gnocchi, any pizza, the meat/cheese antipasto, and bruscheta. The service is good. Alessandro, the manager/chef, really seems to do his best to check on every table. Sometimes the servers will have limited English, so make sure you point to what you want.
