Qingdao Lu Xun Park, originally named as Seaside Park and constructed in 1929, was re-named in 1950 to commemorate Mr. Lu Xun, one of China’s greatest writers. Qingdao Lu Xun Park runs along the natural coastal terrain of LaiYang Road between the Qingdao Naval Mesuem and Bathing Beach #1. Design by Mr. Ge Jinying, a famous Chinese horticulturist, Lu Xun Park covers an area of about 4 hectares and is an awesome place for a picnic under coastal pine trees while looking out over HaiQuan Bay.
